I recently mentioned having ordered the new chapbook by Marjorie Maddox, Wives’ Tales (Seven Kitchens Press) and I am now enjoying her, sometimes dark, take on old stories legends. The magazine will be opening for submissions sooner than usual as we’ll be switching from a summer and winter schedule to spring-summer and fall-winter issues. The new submission window will be from February 24th through March 31st!

Having looked at the poems you have posted from the current issue, it appears WF has attracted quite a few writers with professional reputations.

Yes, we have! Marjorie is one who I know personally, but we had many others who saw our submission calls. It’s always exciting to put newly published poets right next to experienced ones. We’re aiming for more students and non-professionals in the mix as well. I hope you’re submitting again, Brian. The new window opens tomorrow and last through March.
