Make Your Own Kind

I just wanted to let you know about another project I’m working on. I have a brother who is suffering from the memory thief dementia. We hadn’t heard from him in some time. His last emails were getting more and more confusing, and he wasn’t returning our calls. We had gotten used to him becoming more eccentric in recent years. That’s how we thought of it. Turns out, it wasn’t a choice on his part, at least not entirely.

He asked us to continue an old tradition of his that he hasn’t been able to do in some time, so this is my version of Jeff’s Song of the Day:

  1. You’re on the right track… Music leads us back to ourselves…

Somewhere i have some left-over poetry from mommy. some of which was used as a foundation by the writer who wrote a chorale piece that was requisitioned by the SV Chorale… one major piece of advice i have is sing… anything… but also the soundtrack of their lives. just a couple cds… (sound of music and Fred Astaire classics… i still can’t listen) I also have a shit ton of experience. Peace, Ann
