Micah James Bauman and I talk about Poems, Recovery, and Robert Frost
If you’ve followed me here for long, you know that I have three sons, and that my youngest boy is also a poet and has collaborated with me on a poetry chapbook called Mapping the Valley: Hospital Poems.
Well, now Micah and I are working on a new book, longer and more about discovery than recovery. A new episode comes out tomorrow at In Three Poems, but for now, treat yourself to this 22-minute podcast with my son Micah James Bauman. We read two poems by him, including one that he got in trouble for writing while in drivers ed. class, and one a bit more serious. He also shares a favorite and timely poem by Robert Frost.
Thanks for tuning in, and if you enjoy the podcast, please spread the word on social media or just to a friend who could use a bit of poetry right now. Thanks!
