The “Prodigy”

Taking photos of a horse’s behind?

I am in a hurry to get ready for tonight’s Poetry Under the Paintings, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. And by some slim chance that you reading this actually live near here, I urge you to come along. Bring a chair and if you’re daring, a poem (yours or a favorite) to read to the group. It’ll be fun! Last month was our first, so if you cannot be there in less than two hours from my writing this post, how about next month or in August? We plan on this for the first Thursday of each month at least through the Summer.

But before I speed off, I want to introduce you to “The Prodigy.” Yup, he’s my little writer of the family, the one you see on your right in the header photo at the top of this page. He had a blog before called “The Blog that Will Never Love You,” but this is his new online venture. He’s got a big sense of humor, but don’t worry, he’s not as full of himself as he seems. You just better be ready for some crazy pointed hilarity when you engage him there. Believe me, he’s not just smart, he’s a smart ass. Ah hem. . . I mean to say, he’s got a good heart. And I am very proud of the boy. Go say hi and tell him his father sent you.
