Saturday Song Flashback with Fiona Apple

Okay, in my effort to not “praise the devil” by making “injustice the only / measure of our attention (Jack Gilbert, “A Brief for the Defense“),” how about a Throwback Saturday? Okay, so that’s not really a thing. So let’s just call it a Fiona Flashback. A bit about “making it new.”

Read the original post here, and enjoy the today’s Saturday Song by Fiona Apple:

  2. Love the song. Very cool. I had the pleasure of seeing Fiona Apple perform live in the studio when I was working at MTV in New York. The network used to do a Live at Five program hosted by Carson Daley. Followed, always, by The Sifl and Olly Show. Sock puppets. Here’s the hyperlink to one of their episodes. Good sophomoric fun! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92znpSXelJ8

    1. And interestingly enough, right after the “Call, call, call, call from the public,” line was heard, my library phone rang just now. No kidding.
