. . . and Recent Publications

Though I’ve added some recent publications to the appropriately titled “Publications” page, I haven’t taken the time to individually mention them. Also, I’ve been missing my old habit of recording poems. Usually, it was the poems of others, since my own were out searching for publishers, and to post them on the blog would be considered “previous publication.” But with two chapbooks in print and more new poems appearing in literary magazines and journals, I’m going to start recording again and include my own pieces from time to time. And why not start recording some newly minted works?

Here Are the Recents:

“How It Ought to Be,” forthcoming in the spring of 2020 in New Ohio Review.
“Of Bats and Brothers,” a finalist for the 2018 Pangaea Prize at the Poet’s Billow.
“End of the Trail Café,” Third Wednesday, Summer 2019.
Two poems in the anthology Lovejets, Queer Male Poets on 200 Years of Whitman (May 2019).

I will, of course, wait until some time after NOR publishes this spring to share that first one—gotta tease you with something to keep you coming back, don’t I? And there are some poems from the chapbooks I should share with you (in hopes that you’ll buy them!), but let’s get on with a few of these new ones. Fo no other reason than that I’ve uploaded these particular screenshots, let’s start with my publication this summer in Third Wednesday.
