I wasn’t sure what to think when Bold Journey reached out to me, but they said they wanted to feature a little bit about my creative challenges as a poet and poetry podcast host, even my work as a librarian. Naturally, I said, “Sure!” Included in article are some images from the episode with my son Micah, as well as the episode featuring my good friend Joel Showalter.
I am lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful poets and friends who helped me kick off season one of In Three Poems. More exciting stuff coming up in season two, including poets local to my area, like Justin Stawser and Ann Keeler Evans, and poets who I’ve only met online or will be meeting for the first time, writers like Crystal Simone Smith, Claudia Saleeby Savage, Carl Phillips, and more! Season two launches on July 2nd, so look for more details coming soon!
