You’ve seen posts of what I do on certain Thursday nights, and I’ll have some more Poetry Under the Paintings coming your way soon (although I am deep in Christmas preparations, and trying to figure out how to get everything done that needs to be done the next week–needs to be being the key phrase, I think). But I haven’t shown you too much yet of what I have been doing on Monday nights lately.
Below is a taste of Poetry meeting Jazz and fun at the Bull Run Inn in Lewisburg, PA. Ann Keeler Evans, dear friend, fellow poet and all out awesome person delivers her story about Santa’s daughter, and how she saves Christmas.
Her hubby, legendary Steve Mitchell backs her up on drums and Challie Holmes grooves along on bass. You can here my giggles in the background, as well as my attempt to lead the crowd in the participation. I hope you enjoy it and that it brings you a bit of Christmas cheer.
Great fun! I love the accompaniment. More poetry should have a drummer in the background.

Steve often backs us up at the PUP events at the gallery. . . with bongos! 🙂
